Tutor and Student Contract
From the instance that either Tutor or Student becomes active on the platform, such shall be considered entering into a contract whereby the Student agrees to purchase. The Tutor agrees to deliver professionally, with good faith and fair dealings. Both parties agree not to enter into any contractual provisions that conflict with the LJ Future Skills terms or policies and acknowledge and agree to protect the value, reputation, and goodwill of the LJ Future Skills Platform. Tutors and Students agree for LJ Future Skills to take such actions as suspensions, terminations, or legal actions if terms are breached.
Policies for Students
All payments for lessons must go through the LJ Future Skills platform, and Students must make all payments before the start of the class.
Upon requesting payment with the necessary information for the selected payment method (i.e. purchasing a lesson), you authorise us to charge for the amounts you selected on the payment page of your LJ Future Skills Account. After a successful transaction, your Wallet on the platform will display the corresponding amount. You will receive an order confirmation via email to confirm your payment and lesson details. Soon after, the Tutor will be in touch with you to prepare for the lesson. Under no circumstances are refunds or authorised payments for any change of mind. Also, once any classes have been paid for, there are no refunds, but only the opportunity to reschedule the paid lesson/s within 24 hours of the lesson/s start time.

The Tutor declines a lesson
A class expires, which means the Tutor does not confirm the lesson.
Policy for Tutors
All Tutors must use and inform the Students of the LJ Future Skills platform to receive payments from Students for lessons.
Tutors are not permitted to perform any actions or activities that suggest to Students or with Students to avoid the platform’s commission fees or payment fees. Such forbidden activities include, but are not limited to, offering, bribing, soliciting, accepting payment outside of the LJ Future Skills Platform, stating an inaccurate price for a lesson to the Student when comparing it with the advertised price on the platform or giving false information about how payments are processed on the platform.
When students are interested in taking lessons, Tutors will receive lesson requests and be notified via the platform or email. By accepting a class, Tutors agree to deliver the lesson to the Student at the agreed date and time. As a Tutor, you can choose to decline any lesson request. If you do not respond, LJ Future Skills will notify the Student that the lesson was rejected and will automatically expire.

The Tutor declines a lesson
A class expires, which means the Tutor does not confirm the lesson.
LJ Future Skills collects commission fees after every successful completion of a lesson. A successful lesson is considered a lesson whereby a ‘Lesson Problem’ is not reported. A commission of 25% of the lesson’s total cost (including GST) is deducted for each completed lesson. LJ Future Skills will remove the commission fee upon the transfer of earnings to the designated bank account. Note, commission fees associated with lessons that Students refunded will not be given or charged to the Tutor.
As a Tutor, you acknowledge and agree that LJ Future Skills, for any reason, may, in its sole discretion, cancel a confirmed Lesson Request under LJ Future Skills Terms and other LJ Future Skills Policies. You further acknowledge and agree that LJ Future Skills and the relevant Student will not have any liability for such cancellations or refunds.
Concerning rounding, LJ Future Skills may, in its sole discretion, round down or up amounts from Students or Tutors to the nearest whole base unit in whichever currency is denominated.
LJ Future Skills may, in its sole discretion, round up or round down amounts that are payable from or to Tutors or Students to the nearest whole operational base unit in which the currency is denominated (e.g. to the nearest $AUD).
As a Tutor, you agree to permit LJ Future Skills Payment Service to handle all financial matters related to facilitating your tutor services.
Tax Considerations
LJ Future Skills cannot and does not offer tax-related advice to any Member. Tutors must be solely responsible for determining their applicable tax-related duties with the income obtained from their lessons on the platform. They, too, are solely responsible for remitting to the relevant authority any applicable taxes that need to be paid.
Rights of LJ Future Skills Concerning Accounts and Funds
Fraud Measures
LJ Future Skills may impose transaction limits on any Student or Tutor or deactivate any profiles if necessary for security reasons or to prevent fraud.
Actions such as ‘friendly fraud’ are illegal and are not tolerated on the platform. If discovered, LJ Future Skills will deactivate the Student’s account, purchases will be confiscated, and the Student will be noted as a financial security risk. However, suppose an honest mistake occurs, and the error is reported soon after the act. In that case, LJ Future Skills can reverse the transaction, and the Student can redo the original action correctly. For all financial disputes, contact LJ Future Skills. LJ Future Skills has the right to void any purchases if they are found to be fraudulent.
Erroneous Transactions
If erroneous or duplicate transactions occur, LJ Future Skills has the right to seek reimbursement from any Tutor or Student. Repayment may come in the form of deducting from future payment earnings owed to a Tutor or by seeking reimbursement from such Tutor by any other lawful means.
Prohibitions
As well as the above prohibitions, as either a Tutor or a Student, you understand and agree to comply with any applicable laws, rules, regulations, and tax obligations that apply to you as a result of your use of the platform. LJ Future Skills has the right to investigate and prosecute violations of any of the above to the fullest extent of the law. LJ Future Skills may take a range of actions against you, including but not limited to limiting or removing access to your LJ Future Skills account or taking legal action. It is forbidden to do the following:
Violating local, state, provincial, national, or other laws or regulations or any court order, such as money laundering and internet fraud or theft.
Using the platform for commercial or other purposes is not the intended function.
Using the platform to transmit, distribute, post or submit any information concerning any other person or entity, personal contact information or credit, debit, calling card or account numbers, or photographs of others.
Registering or encouraging Students or Tutors in any Payment Method or Withdrawal Method that is not the payment services on the platform.
Advocating, encouraging, or liaising with any third party in doing any of the mentioned prohibited acts listed here.
Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information.
Avoiding, bypassing, removing, deactivating, impairing, descrambling, or otherwise circumventing any technological measure of the LJ Future Skills.
Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any LJ Future Skills system or network or breach any security or authentication measures.
Attempting to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software on the platform.
Using fraudulent credit cards or other payment methods
Dispute between Tutor and Student
Suppose a disagreement between a Tutor and a Student that both parties cannot professionally resolve. In that case, the Tutor or Student must submit a ‘Lesson Problem’. In doing so, LJ Future Skills will become a mediator, whereby LJ Future Skills will access the communication records regarding the dispute through the platform and ask for further documents from both parties. In this instance, LJ Future Skills will have the authority to resolve the dispute at its sole discretion, and LJ Future Skills’s resolution will be final. As a result, LJ Future Skills shall have the right to take necessary action concerning transactions or commission fees to resolve the dispute. For example, transfer credits, offer a refund, reverse a transaction, or designate who shall bear the commission fee.
